Key points of CNC design

ü  R-angle: When designing parts made through CNC machining, it is best to increase the cavity depth radius and use a similar radius for the inner edge. If you do not provide a 2D drawing file specifically stating that the right angle should be cleaned, our company will process all inner cavity right angles of the workpiece according to the following rules with a minimum R.

ü Cavity: Processing deep cavities will greatly affect the cost of CNC parts, as it requires the removal of a large amount of material and takes an extremely long time. The cutting length of CNC tools is limited, and the machining effect is best when the cutting depth reaches 2-3 times its diameter.

ü thin-wall: Thin wall machining requires multiple tool passes at low cutting depths, which can easily cause deformation or fracture due to vibration. Therefore, it is difficult to accurately process thin-walled materials, and the processing time will increase.

ü Tolerance: The stricter the tolerance, the higher the processing cost, as it increases the processing and quality inspection time. If specific tolerances are not indicated on the part drawing, the machining will be carried out according to the standard tolerance (± 0.1mm or higher). If there are special tolerance machining requirements, it is necessary to provide 2D drawings and corresponding annotations.
